Television: Almost A La Carte

Comments

Josh and I were just talking about this actually. We don't have cable, and we can't even get ABC or NBC clearly with our rabbit ears. It's been this way for a year now but we've learned to get around it. We regularly watch PBS (one channel that does come in) and watch LOST on abc.com and rent HBO tv shows from the A&M library (just got the entire 2nd season of Rome for free...love that). Anything we can't get at the library we rent at our local Hastings for cheap. All in all, we don't have a monthly charge and get to watch what we want...just sometimes after the season is over. Obviously most people are not okay with this arrangement, but it works really well for us. However, we never get to watch sports, and that really stinks. My brother-in-law lives in Slovakia and he subscribes through Yahoo to watch all the football games he wants live online...but since we are in the states...we don't get that option.
