No one seems to post here anymore. Does that mean no one reads it anymore? I'm curious and in a self-involved mood, so post a quick reply (doesn't need to be substantive) if you even see this. I keep meaning to get back to blogging, but maybe this place isn't the best outlet. Is everyone on Facebook and Twitter now?

It's in my folder of things I load each morning along with the Post and a few other things.

I don't do anything with Facebook. Maybe I'm in the minority.

I like knowing what's up with people's lives, but it seems like blogging isn't how people want to express that anymore.

i stroll by here every so often, and receive the weekly neighborhood update in my email (i.e., something that tells me that x amount of neighbors have updated this week and who they are). and i still regularly use my Vox to post music reviews, but not blog. i'm barely blogging on LJ anymore, too, however still keep up with that as well, especially travel pics on http://natantic.livejournal.com/

When vox sends out weekly updates of friends I usually take a look to see who said what in the past week.

I wanted to start blogging again. What I seem to do now is use a combination of facebook and twitter.

I also recently upgraded the blog software on my personal site. I've thought about using that instead of vox. Most of the appeal to lj/vox to me was the community feeling and how easily it allowed people to check to see what our friends group was thinking. With the upswing in RSS adoption among our group, I'm leaning towards thinking that these community sites are no longer necessary. Also, I pay for my personal site and I should probably use it for something :)

Yes I read this, usually when I get my weekly update that tells me when people post. I use facebook all the time, but I like the blog for more substantive posts and life updates. I'd be a very happy person if everyone just did a few paragraphs life update every month.

I quit updating so often because no one else seemed to. I do like Vox though.

Yeah I read here. I don't check as often as I do LJ (because that gets more activity, possibly just because of the sheer number of poeple and communities I follow there), but I do check here, and whenever I do post an entry I usually do it here and then cross post to LJ.

Facebook I don't do all that much with, twitter I use a moderate amount, though I'm trying to do it more.

I'd like to start blogging again more, I've even got a couple of posts I want to put together, I just need some time to sit down and compose them. I do think if I got into the habit again it wouldn't be too tough to start up again, but it's going to take some work to overcome the inertia of not doing such things I've built up.

Is this thing on?
