2007 or bust!
Time published a list of 5 Things That Went from Buzz to Bust in 2007. In order (if there is an order), it goes:
- Snakes on a Plane
- OJ's TV thing
- Studio 60
- PS3
- Bode Miller
One of these things is not like the other... I mean, an alpine skier on the same list as OJ's murder fiasco?! Yowch. J-Rude and I were wracking our brains to come up with a better #5 spot and were having trouble, other than Lost, Season 2, which was disqualified because of the other two television nominations, and possibly the Super Bowl, which sort of is the same story every year.
Anyone have any better Let-Downs-of-2006 than Bode Miller? We feel that sports, gadgets, or possibly some kind of celebrity gossip are in order here.

Bird Flu didn't kill enough people. I think it killed one. Or maybe it only infected 1? Anyway, people were using the word "pandemic" and less-than-or-equal-to-1 people died.
Even the sweet-ass movie couldn't provide enough inspiration.
Y'know technically, I killed less-than-or-equal-to-1 people this year and I get no fucking movie! Why can't they call ME a pandemic?!
